PERUBAHAN MORFOLOGI SEL EPITEL KOLON MENCTT JANTAN GALUR BALB. C YANG TERPAPAR MINYAK GORENG BEKAS
Heating process of fat as food casserole medium leads to oxidation reaction and polymerization reaction of fatty acid. These reactions cause formations of trans fatty acid and free radical that included in injurious agent and carcinogenic agent. Exposured with these agents cause cellular injury and lead to carcinogenesis process. The aim of this study is to prove the morphological changes of colon epithelial cells of Balb. C male rat resulted flying fat exposured among 3 month and to describe the variation of morphological changes that happened. The study methods are laboratory experimental study and descriptive study. The morphological changes of epithelial cells were identified by Hematoxillin Eosin staining under microscope observation. The changes are cellular atrophy, hypertrophy, hyperplasi, dysplasi, neoplasm, and tissue necrosis. The result showed that there were morphological changes of epithelial cells of colon. The one way Anova test showed that flying fat exposured among 3 month caused the changes. The Least Significant Difference test showed the increasing of flying fat concentration caused more significant celullar injury.
