KEEFEKTIFAN PENGGUNAAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL VCD TERHADAP KETUNTASAN BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN SEJARAH DI SMAN 2 JEMBER
Abstract
Theoretically, the teaching program recorded in video
compact disk (VCD) could solve verbalism problems. Especially in
history subject, the students tended to have lack motivation in the
subject due to monotonous and unattractive teaching-learning
process in the classroom. The use of media is advantageous as it can
show a fact, a process or actions. The present study aimed to
investigate the effectiveness of media on mastery learning of the
history subject in senior high school in Jember. The results of the
study showed that the teaching program of history subject using the
media of VCD was significantly effective in increasing students'
achievement.
