Primary herpetic labialis is one of disease that can manifest in oral cavity caused
by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). The signs of this viral infection can presence of
vesicular lesions on the lip or oral mucosa, some of them can developed become ulcers.
The differential diagnosis is obtained based on the circumstances include herpetic primary
gingivostomatitis, herpes simplex labialis and herpes zoster. The final diagnosis from this
case report is primary herpetic labialis. Case description is the woman, 9 years old that
complained of pain in the lower and upper lip on the right and left cheek. The conclusion
from this case is getting by subjective examination thulat through anamnesis, then the
objective examination include extra and intra-oral to obtain the final diagnosis, primary
herpetic labialis caused by HSV Type 1. The treatment of this case is Acyclovir cream tube,
Acyclovir tablets 200 mg and Biololysin as a multivitamin
