Mobile Rice milling unit has been designed by the farmers to facilitate the rice milling activity from previous technology,
so the Rice Milling Unit became mobile and able to fullfil farmer request . One of Mobile Rice Milling Unit using but
ergonomycal analysis has not been revealed, so that it cause pain in operators body. This research was conducted on January
until March 2015 in Kecamatan Wuluhan Kabupaten Jember. This research was analyzed using descriptive analysis method
to know the ergonomys performance of this design. The numbers of operators studied were 30 people. Operator dimensions
measure were elbow height, waist high, folding knee height, the width palm of the hand, the reach of the hand, as well as
foot width and length. The data obtained were tested using a simple statistical test, uniformity test and adequacy test. After
that percentiles was calculated to determine the dimensions of the design. The percentile used was 5-95 percentile. Based
on the results of anthropometric aspects, it was indicated that the design was not ergonomys because of the differences in
conformity with the dimensions of the machine, so that was true if many operators have complains of pain in the body.
Based on the results, a redesign was needed to make it more ergonomys. The results of reseach were obtained dimensions to
determine the redesign mobile rice milling unit, which it can be used for machine A, B, and C in redesigning the ground
operator high into 32 cm, redesigning mobile high into 32 cm, redesigning grain polisher and entry regulator into 91 cm,
and redesigning grip tub into 9 cm.
