Abstract
THE DATA WERE GAINED BY APPLYING TRIANGULATION METHOD WITH THEREE REEARCH INSTRUMENTS. THEY WERE FREE-GUIDEDMINTERVIEW, READING ACHIEVENMENT TEST, AND STRUCTURED QUESTIONNAIRE. THE DATA OF THE STUDENTS' ACHIEVENENT TO IDENTIFY MAIN IDEAS WERE GATHERED BY CONDUCTING INTERVIEW WITH THE ENGLISH TEACHER AND BEING CROSS-CHEEKED WITH THE RESULT OF QUESTIONNAIRE THAT WAS GIVEN TO THE RESPONDENTS.
