The development of wood-based furniture industry in Banyuwangi experiences a progress. This progress is not comparable with the ability of timber production from production forest area due to reduced planting area in Banyuwangi. This has an impact on the limited resources owned by UD. (Sole Proprietorship) MIM IN Banyuwangi to produce five main products based on customer orders. Limited resources or production limitation factor owned by the company include raw materials, availability of work hours and consumer demand. The company is required to optimize the limited allocation of resources in order to establish optimal product combination that will have an impact on the maximum profit to be gained. The type of research used in this study was operation research with quantitative approach. Then the mathematical linear programming model simplex method was used to provide optimal solution as a plan on the number of products in the 7th quarter of December, 2013 to February, 2014. The whole linear programming model calculation used software tool of POM-QM for Windows 3.0. The research result obtained from the linier programming model with simplex method was plan on the number of products. The optimal solution of the product combination included cupboard 6 units, sideboard (TV shelf) 9 units , bed 9 units, dining table 9 units and kitchen set 9 units. Of the optimal solution product combination, the maximum profit to be obtained was IDR 45,000,000.
