Abstract

The quality of power transformer insulating oil is one of the most important factors we need to note that the performance of the transformer is still good. Some tests such as DGA, dielectric characteristics, physical characteristics and chemical characteristics of insulating oil were carried out at the same time to obtain a consistent test results. This study was conducted on an analysis of the correlation between the results of testing the dielectric characteristics of the chemical characteristics, physical characteristics and chemical characteristics of the transformer insulating oil in two different relay. Therefore we can determine the factors that influence changes in transformer insulating oil. It is expected that this correlation will bring the conclusion and the actions that must be made to the insulating transformer oil. The study shows that there is a correlation between the breakdown voltage of the load and the gas content of insulating oils.
