STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) is one of the conditions the cooperative learning students learn in small groups with 4-5 members of the student group is heterogeneous. STAD give students the freedom to express their opinions can be an answer to the question or it can create an environment of active learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the student after upgrading multirepresentasi applied STAD cooperative learning model with an audiovisual medium, and assess significant differences between the experimental class of student learning outcomes and classroom control. This type of research is experimental research, while the data collection techniques used are documentation, interviews, and tests. For the analysis of the data using the formula Ng (Normalized Gain) and t-test. Results of this study showed, an increase ability verbal representation of students of high criteria, and capacity building mathematical representations, images, and graphics are the criteria the students, and there are significant differences between the learning outcomes of students who apply STAD cooperative learning model along with the audiovisual media learning model direct instruction on learning physics in junior high.
