    Pengaruh Medium Padat Dalam Pengembangan Masal Paecilomyces Fumosoroseus

    Abstract
    erangan hama Bemisia tabaci merupakan salah satu faktor pembatas dalam usaha meningkatkan produksi tanaman. Langkah pengendalian yang biasa dilakukan oleh petani adalah dengan menggunakan insektisida. Usaha penegendalian B. tabaci kemudian diarahkan pada pengendalian hayati dalam memanfaatkan musuh alaminya. Salah satu musuh alami yang dikembangkan dalam usaha pengendalian tersebut adalah cendawan entomopatogen P. fumosoroseus. Penyediaan P. fumosoroseus dalam jumlah banyak dilakukan dengan memperbanyak cendawan pada media buatan, antara lain media beras, jagung dan campuran antara beras dan jagung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan media tumbuh yang sesuai bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. P. fumosoroseus dan patogenesitas P. fumosoroseus tersebut terhadap B. tabaci. Rancangan yang digunakan ialah Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial yang di ulang 3 kali. Perlakuan di uji sebanyak 3 macam media yaitu media beras, jagung dan beras dicampur jagung dengan menggunakan 2 isolat yaitu isolat yang berasal dari Wirowongso dan Mumbulsari. Masing-masing perlakuan kemudian diamati jumlah konidia, perkecambahan konidia dan patogenesitaasnya terhadap B. tabaci Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan berbagai media tumbuh (beras, jagung, dan beras dicampur jagung) berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan kualitas hasil perbanyakan P. fumossoroseus. Pertumbuhan dan hasil perbanyakan tertinggi diperoleh pada media beras dengan isolate Wirowongso. Jumlah konidia dan perkecambahan konidia P.fumosoroseus tertinggi juga didapatkan dari hasil perbanyakan P.fumosoroseus tersebut pada media beras isolat Wirowongso The white fly Bemisia tabaci is a key pest in the soybean cultivation. The attacks are not only directly throung feeding activity, but more severe because of transmulting virus diseases by white fly. The control technique by farmer often uses pesticide to control white fly leading to resistance and resurgence of white fly. To reduce the negative impact using pesticide, the alternative suck as use natural enemy should be developed. The observation in soybean plant the attacks by white fly showed that Epizootic of P.fumosoroseus occurred on white fly population. Isolation and identification have done in the laboratorium as effort to use as biopesticide. This study was conducted in order to obtain a suitable growing medium for the growth and development. P .fumosoroseus and it is relation on virulence to B. tabaci . The research was completely randomized design two factors (isolates and media solid) and the treatments were replicated 3 times. Each treatments and then observed the number of spores, spore germination, and the virulence of B. tabaci were recorded as response The result showed that the use of various solid media (rice, maize, and rice mixed with corn) affect the growth and quality of the propagation of P. fumossoroseus. The result also showed that rice medium was the best medium for growing and virulen of P. fumosoroseus isolate Wirowongso. This was a similar result on number of spores and spores germination of P. fumosoroseus.
