MANAJEMEN MUTU LABORATORIUM TB PADA PUSKESMAS RUJUKAN MIKROSKOPIS (PRM) DAN PUSKESMAS PELAKSANA MANDIRI (PPM) DI KABUPATEN SITUBONDO TAHUN 2010

Abstract

Tuberculosis still becomes problem of health in Indonesia. The one of existing problem in disease prevention program of lung tuberculosis is inadequate quality management of laboratory, so that this case is able to influence result of sputum checkup tuberculosis. The error rate of Situbondo in 2010 was 5.7%. Error rate standard health department that was <5%. Although in data of error rate Situbondo shows high error rate number. Based on that condition, this research purpose to know about quality management of laboratory tuberculosis in Situbondo at 2010. This research is descriptive observation. Population in this research is all laboratory officer of community health centers that doing inspection of phlegm microscopically in Situbondo namely 8 laboratory officers. The obtained data were processed and presented using cross distribution and textual. The results of this research indicated that the officers at the community health centers who had a high and low error rate had the same by the characteristic and infrastructure consists of: gender, tenure, training microscopic of TB, knowledge, work load, type and condition of microscope, storage of reagen, and spaces of laboratory TB. The processes of making preparations in the community health centers who had a high error rate did not match the work procedures and had not colored in accordance with the fixed procedures. Stabilization of internal quality activities had not runt optimally, while the external quality stabilization was carried out by sending supplies to the health laboratories in district of Lumajang with feedback in form of error rate number.
