PENGARUH POLA ASIH DAN ASUH GIZI TERHADAP TUMBUH KEMBANG ANAK BALITA USIA 6-24 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS JELBUK KABUPATEN JEMBER
Abstract
Parenting nutrition is the household practical nutrition which is realized by
the availability of food and medical care and other resources to ensure the survival,
growth and development of a child. Parenting nutrition is closely associated with
growth and development of children under five years old. Otherwise, early childhood
development is also closely associated with the love pattern (emotions or affection)
includes two factors: maternal interaction with children and the role of parents.
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of parenting nutrition and love pattern
toward early childhood growth age 6 - 24 months in Public Health Center of Jelbuk,
Jember Regency.
The research type was observational analytic with Cross-Sectional
approaches. The samples were early childhood aged 6-24 months about 84 children.
The research was conducted on June and October 2011 in the working area of Public
Health Center of Jelbuk, Jember Regency. The data was collected through interviews
with questionnaires and observation. Based on Ordinal Regression results of
statistical tests, it’s known that the love pattern had influences toward early
childhood growth age 6-24 months with the Sig or p = 0.027 (p <α) and there was an
influence of parenting nutrition on the growth and development of early childhood
age 6-24 months with the Sig or p = 0.0001 (p <α). Effort that could be
recommended for this study was by providing skills to the mother how to make
healthy food with lower price to increase the child nutrient. Moreover for love
pattern was by providing information and counseling especially for working mother
how to interact and take a good care with the children.
