The activity of human being can’t be divided by either time or space elements.
Some particular activities or circumstances are always related to the place in which they occur.
A study of historical geography examines the relation between space and time in the past
which demonstrates particular phenomenon exploratively at that time. This study aims to
identify the effect of geographic situation which affects the two biggest civilizations in the
world, namely Chinese and Egyptian. The current research takes form of expos facto research.
The finding indicates that the natural environment in both civilizations give significant
influence on the development of civilization in Egypt and China. The naturals situation both in
Nile and Hwangho waters is the main geographical factor that supports the persistence of high
