Notable among these are a close cooperation with Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines to counter terrorism, a rapprochement with Indonesia, a continuing military and economic support to Singapore and Malaysia and a renewing commitment to help the Philippines in South China Sea conflicts.en_US
