Abstract: | Soybean is called a commercial commodity in society because soybeans contain a lot of vegetable protein and high nutrients. On the other hand people want soybeans that have high quality with large seeds and early maturity. While the need for soybeans every year continues to increase inversely with decreasing production. One way to overcome some of these problems is to assemble superior varieties through plant breeding by crossing elders to be selected using correlation analysis. Determination of soybean seed yield using correlation analysis will not be effective if the independent variables that affect the main dependent variable have increased. Therefore the analysis needs further analysis called cross analysis. Cross analysis is an analysis used to find out the direct and indirect effects of agronomic traits on soybean yield. This study was conducted at the State Polytechnic Jember trial area in October 2017 until completion. This study uses a randomized block design (RBD) sub-sampling with three replications, if the calculation results are significantly different, then it will be followed by Scott-Knott's further test. The varieties used were the Dega1, Gemasugen 1, Gemasugen 2, Sinabung, and Gema varieties. |
