Analisis Potensi Ekonomi Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Timur

Abstract

This research aims to determine base sectors of districts / cities in each regional development unit (RDU) in the province of Eost Java based on criteria af contribution and criteria of economic growth rate sectoral which has a competitive and specialization value related to classification or typology of an object area of research with period of 5 years that is from 2009 to 2013. This research method using descriptive-quantitative analysis method by using location quotient analysis, method of growth ratios, shift-share analysis esteban marquil/as, Klassen typology. The results of this research indicate that the average district/city which typology of underdeveloped areas and rapidly growing that is base sector on agriculture and services, whereas districts/city which typology of fast forward and depressed is an average based sector on industries and services.
