dc.description.abstractThe learning model Problem Based Learning ( Problem Based Learning ), learning and teaching oriented towards solving problems, especially those related to the application of learning materials in real life. The purpose of this study to assess the effect of the model based problem -based learning curriculum in 2013 on learning outcomes and critical thinking class VII SMP in jember regency. Sampling using purposive sampling area. The data in the study in the form of student learning outcomes taken from the value of post test and obtained better results for the experimental class than the control class as well as on the data taken with the critical thinking students method observation during lab activities. The conclusions of this study are effect of Problem Based Learning based curriculum models in 2013 on learning outcomes and critical thinking seventh grade of junior high school in jember regency.en_US
