RANCANG BANGUN MESIN PENCETAK BATA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KAPASITAS PRODUKSI PADA PAGUYUBAN PENGRAJIN BATA MERAH KALISAT JEMBER

Abstract

Some villagers of Gambiran county, kecamatan Kalisat Jember make red bricks as their earning. These groups are ecomonically better than ordinary farmers. Quality of their bricks is relatively good but the production volume is below the demand that increased time by time. This commuty service program aim is to redesign the bricks maker machine to fulfill the counsumers demand. The machine was designed to increase the production capacity up 6000 bricks in compare to manually method which only 500 bricks per day. The program devided into two main steps, technical and non technical. Technical step consist of redesigning, manufacturing and shipping the machine, whereas non technical step means guiding and encouraging the group to manage their production and emerging their awareness to the environment.
