Abstract: The purpose of this study is to estimate the contribution of baseflo w in th e sub w atershe d K lopos awi t using the Re c ursi v e Digit al Filt e r M e thods . T he mode l s are used : ( 1 ) O ne Parame ter Algori thm , ( 2 ) Boughton T w o Parame ter Algori thm ; ( 3 ) IH ACRE S ( T hree Para me ter Algori thm ) , (4 ) BFLO W ( L y nie & Holick Algori thm ) , ( 5 ) C hapman Algori thm , and ( 6 ) E W M A Filt e r . Stages of thi s study include ( 1 ) data i nv e ntory ( 2 ) data proce ssi ng ( 3 ) baseflow analysis ( 4 ) mode l pe rfor manc e test . Data inve ntory is obtai n e d from : ( 1 ) discharge d ata and ( 2 ) rainf all data . T he dis c harge data are used for analyzing baseflow . T he rainf all data are used to show the c orrelati on be tw e e n fl uc tuat ions in rainf all trend w it h fl uc tuat ions in d ischarge v olume trend . M ode l pe rfor manc e test w e re c alculated using RM SE and c orrel ati on c oe ff ic ient m e thod . T he re sult s show e d that the mode l s of L y ne & Holli c k and E W M A fi lt e r ha ve signi fi c ant v alues in RM SE and R ² then the others in bas e fl ow w i th re sult s prese nted RM S E v alue of 0.42 ; 1 , and R ² of 0.49 ; 0.937 . Base fl ow Inde x ( BFI ) v alu e re sult s from the mode l L y ne & Holli c k and E W M A fi lt e r re spec ti v e ly 0.91 and 0.90 . BFI ' s re sult s show e d that 90 % of e x ist ing str e ams in the w atershe d K lopos awi t of the dry pe riod in August and Se ptem be r c ome s fr o m the c ontri buti on of base fl ow .
