dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine and analyze the MRP and the optimal order quantity for each raw material for sliced crackers at UD. Two sons of Mangli Jember. The type of data used in this research based on the source of its acquisition is primary and secondary data. Primary data used in the form of ordering costs, holding costs, bill of materials, and product structure were obtained from interviews with the owner. The secondary data used is cracker demand data sourced from UD Dua Putra notebooks. The analytical methods used are demand forecasting using the time series method, Material Requirement Planning, and determining optimal lot size using the Lot for Lot, Economic Order Quantity, and Period Order Quantity techniques using POM for Windows 3 software. Results of this research: 1) schedule Master Production Schedule for sliced cracker products for April is 1722 kg 2) the optimal order size for April for tapioca flour is 1597 kg. salt 124 kg, flavoring 32 pcs, food coloring 0 or no need to order, shrimp paste 0 or no need to order, and plastic packaging 195 pcs. | en_US |
