dc.description.abstract | Motorcycles have become an important transportation alternative in Indonesia, especially in recent decades. With a dense population and rapid urban development, automatic transmission motorcycles have become a favorite due to their comfort and ease of use. The variety of brands in the market makes it difficult for people to choose based on criteria such as price, fuel consumption, engine capacity, and additional features. Therefore, a decision support system (SPK) is needed to help consumers choose a suitable automatic motorcycle. One of the methods used in this SPK is the Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to the Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). This research discusses the selection of matic motorcycles with Honda and Yamaha brands using four criteria, namely price, fuel consumption, engine capacity, and additional features. The fuzzy approach and TOPSIS solving steps are used to get the best ranking and optimal alternative. This research methodology involves calculating the decision matrix, normalizing the decision matrix, weighting the Decision matrix, determining positive and negative ideal solutions, calculating the distance of each alternative to the ideal solution, calculating the relative closeness of each alternative, and ranking the final results. The final result of this research is to provide recommendations for matic motorbikes that match consumer criteria. So the first rank is obtained, namely the Honda Beat (A_2) bike with a degree of closeness value of 0.6164 and the Yamaha Mio (A_5) bike becomes the degree of closeness value, namely 0.4543 being the last rank for consumers in choosing a matic motorcycle. | en_US |
