Abstract: Liparis resupinata Ridl. is one of the epiphytic orchids that contains secondary metabolites. Secondary metabolites can be used as potential drugs. This research aims to identify secondary metabolite compounds in the methanol extract of L. resupinata from the Mount Gumitir area and determine its antioxidant activity and medicinal potential. secondary metabolite analysis using LC-MS and antioxidant activity analysis using the DPPH method. The research results show that the metabolite compounds in L. resupinata are classified into terpenes, flavonoids, and phenols for literature studies regarding the medicinal potential of these compounds, namely anticancer, antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal and antioxidant. The results for antioxidant activity obtained IC50 results for the methanol extract of L. resupinata of 650 µg/ml which is very weak antioxidant activity and for comparison, the vitamin C solution had an IC50 result of 4.35µg/ml which is a very strong antioxidant activity.
