Abstract: | Differences in development between regions that cause economic growth in each region to be different can cause income inequality that can be measured based on the level of GRDP per capita. Indonesia is one of the developing countries where development continues on the island of Java. The purpose of this study is to determine how much regional income inequlity occurs in Indonesia. And to test and analyze the effect of labor, investment, and technology on regional income inequality in Indonesia. Based on Neoclassical Spatial Growth Theory (1960) and The New Growth Theory (1986), The Neoclassical Spatial Growth Theory considers labor and investment as triggering factors. While The New Growth Theory explained that technology and human capital can also trigger emergence. The type of research data uses secondary data, namely panel data consisting of time series data for 2010-2019 and cross section data for 6 provinces in Indonesia. Data analysis using Williamson Index and Multiple Regression. The results of this test indicate that the number of the working labor has a positive but not significant effect on regional income in Indonesia. Investment has a positive and significant impact. While, technology has a significant and negative impact on regional income in Indonesia. The influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable has an effect of 99.65% as well as a measure of the success of a regression in predicting the value of the independent variable on the dependent. |
