Aedes aegypti a species of mosquito from Aedes genus, which is abundant throughout the year, especially during the rainy season. Aedes aegypti can live in extreme environments, so the existence of Aedes aegypti are evenly distributed in tropical and subtropical regions. Aedes aegypti are a vector for carrying Dengue Fever in humans. Vector-based infectious diseases in several regions of Indonesia become Extraordinary Events with a fairly high mortality rate. One of attempts to control it are very important, so it can suppress the growth of dengue fever vectors. The best and most environmentally friendly control is using bioinsecticides. One of the plants that can be used for bioinsecticides is mango (Mangifera indica L.). This experimental study used an extraction method with 96% ethanol as a solvent. This study aims to determine the LC50 ability extract of mango (Mangifera indica L.) peel on mortality of Aedes aigypti larvae. The results of the preliminary test obtained LC5 of 500 ppm and LC95 of 2.500 ppm. LC5 and LC95 are the initial steps to determine extract’s concentration to be used in the final test. The serial concentrations used for the final test are: 500ppm, 1.000ppm, 1.500ppm, 2.000ppm, 2.500ppm. The final test results were analyzed to obtain the LC50 value, the result was 1.406,36 ppm, with a lower limit of 1.282,97 ppm and an upper limit of 1.518,52 ppm. LC50 is used to determine the concentration of the extract that can kill 50% of larvae.en_US
