dc.description.abstractAging that occurs in the elderly is often followed by changes in sleep quality. This sleep quality decreases due to sleep disorders such as insomnia, breathing disorders during sleep, sleep behavior disorders, and REM sleep disorders. The problem of sleep disorders in the elderly affects the body's physiological and psychological functions, which can result in physical and mental illness. This study aimed to determine the effect of murotal al-Quran therapy in improving sleep quality in the elderly. This study used literature reviews using national and international databases, namely Pubmed, and Google Scholar, with an article time range from 2018 – 2022. The selected articles were experimental articles and case studies. The keywords used are Holy Quran, Murotal Quran, Sleep Quality, Insomnia, Sleep Apnea, Elderly, Elderly. From the database used, seven articles were found that matched. The study results were obtained from 7 articles, and all of the results stated significant differences in the group that received the Al-Quran murotal therapy intervention in post-therapy conditions. Compared to the pre and control groups. In conclusion, Murotal Al Quran improves sleep quality in the elderlyen_US
