Penggunaan Aspek-Aspek Sinematografi Untuk Membangun Struktur Dramatik Pada Film A Quiet Place

Abstract

This study discusses the aspects of cinematography that built the dramatic structure in the A Quiet Place movie. The purpose of this study is to describe the dramatic structure in the A Quiet Place movie which was built through cinematographic aspects. The research data was examined using the theory of cinematography and dramatic structure. The dramatic structure is used to determine dramatic values, while cinematography is used to analyze the visual aspects that build the dramatic structures in the A Quiet Place movie. This study uses qualitative type of research and using descriptive methods. Based on the research that has been done, it is known that there are 7 scenes that have dramatic tension values. Cinematographic aspects such as framing (camera angle, image size, camera movement), the duration of the image and composition can build dramatic tension values, so that it can bring the audience's emotions.
