Lack of knowledge, especially about authority, will cause problems. One of the effects of the lack of knowledge of nurses on their authority is the phenomenon of "gray area". This study aims to describe the knowledge of nurses who open independent practice about their authority in the work area of Jember Regency. The design of this research is descriptive quantitative with 72 respondent using purposive sampling technique. This questionnaire uses a nurse characteristic sheet and a questionnaire about the description of nurses' knowledge. The majority of research respondents are male. Most of the respondents' last education level was a nurse profession, with an average length of work in health services 12.93 years and an average length of time in independent practice 10.06 years. The results showed that the independent practice nurse's knowledge of authority had a minimum value of 11 and a maximum value of 21 with the highest knowledge being indicators of public health nursing care providers, extension workers and counselors for clients, and implementing tasks based on delegation of authority. |
