This paper addresses the user’s privacy problem in the DRM system. Focusing on achieving optimal security for content provider, DRM system often neglect user’s privacy. We propose solutions to this problem in a new perspective: providing balance protection on privacy and security. Preserving user’s privacy is approached by minimizing user’s data acquisition. The implementation of this privacy protection has to be controlled so that the security of the content provider is preserved. All solutions presented in this paper are based on the blind decryption scheme. To demonstrate the advantages of a blind decryption based solution, we also compared it to an anonymous cash scheme.en_US
