dc.description.abstract | he demand of energy in the world always increas, but the availability of the fossil
energy is extremely decreased. So an alternative energy is needed to supply the
energy demand. This research proposes a design of a hybrid system that integrated
solar cell – battery – PLN to supply load in the 12 V. This system uses a 100 Wp solar
cell. This system has peak performance at 13.00 which produces voltage 20,03 V,
current 4,52A and power 90,52W. The voltage output of the solar cell will be
regulated by a DC-DC converter and then the output of DC-DC converter will be
connected to the PWM generator circuit that using IC LM 324 to sets the duty cycle
as the mosfet trigger of buck boost converter circuit. It is expected that the output of
the circuit is in the constant value. The battery is fully charged when the voltage
achieves 12.7 V, and the battery is charging when it’s 30-40% of full charge, which
reach voltage about 11.8 V. PLC use the ladder diagram to implement switch the
hybrid systems, the voltage sensor is used as the input to measure the solar cell and
battery voltage. The solar cell use to supply load when the voltage output is bigger
than 13 V. Battery will be supply when the output is less than 11.8 V. The test shows
that the system could work like expected value. | en_US |
