Perbedaan Persepsi Terhadap Organisasi Berdasarkan Keaktifan Organisasi Mahasiswa Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Jember
Abstract
Student organizations are a means of self-development to gain insight,
scientific attitudes, understanding of the profession and increase cooperation
between members. Awareness to join student organizations is still lacking,
moreover the lack of time management between study and active organizations ,
students have bad perception about an active student of organization, they have
perception that academic activities may be distrupted if join to organizations, and
can cause a longer to graduate from college. Students who join in organizational
activities cannot be separated from the influence of perceptions about the
organization, the more positive perceptions about the organization, the higher
interested the students to join the organization, and conversely the more negative
perception, the lower the interest of students to join. This study aims to determine
differences in perceptions of the organization based on the activeness of student
organizations. The design of the study was descriptive research with comparative
analysis design with a sample size of 266. The result showed that was no
difference in perception of the organization based on organizational activity as
evidenced by the independent t test with p value = 0.558 (p value <0.05) which
means there are no differences in perceptions of the organization. This study
showed that active and inactive students in organizations do not have different
perceptions. The study is expected to be an input for the organizations, so that it
can improve quality and quantity of the organization and can make students to be
more active in organizations, and that become evaluation to students for choose
an organization that according to interests and talents
