dc.description.abstract | Nursing documentation can be qualified as good or poor based on some aspects that were factual, precise, complete, new, and organized. The quality of the nursing documentation is influenced by several factors. One of the factors is perception. The aim of this study was to indentify the correlation between perception of nursing documentation and quality of nursing documentation by nursing profession program students of University of Jember. This research used descriptive analytical design by using retrospective approach. This research used total sampling, was involving 44 student nursing profession and 836 nursing documentation, and test used Spearman’s rank. This research revealed that the perception of students of nursing profession regarding documentation showed the average value of 101,57. More students documentation (40,9%) than poor documentation (59,1%). Therefore perception of documentation has a moderate correlated to the quality of the documentation quality of the students of nursing profession (p= 0,002, r=0,447, α=0,05). The better perception, the better of quality nurisng documentation. That suggested increasing the assessment points of nursing documentation, especially on the legal aspects of nursing documentation so that student of nursing profession has a high motivation to make a quality nursing documentation. | en_US |
