INTERAKSI GENOTIPE X LINGKUNGAN BEBERAPA SIFAT AGRONOMI KEDELAI, Glycine max (L.) Merrill
Abstract
The low yield of soybean production in Indonesia caused by soybean cultivated on varies growth condition from margin land with unfavorable climate up to fertile land with favorable climate. According to the agroclimate criteria, most field of soybean is not favorable for optimal commercially production. Selection of some genotypes that suitable to the specific condition was needed to be done, because the soybean yield is affected by the interaction between genotype and environment. Multilocations assessment to decide the genotype that suitable to the climate condition of region of Jember, Probolinggo, and Mojokerto to had been done in Polytechnic of Jember, Inlitkabi Muneng Probolinggo and Inlitkabi Mojosari Mojokerto. Design experiment was RCBD with ten genotypes and three replications. The experiment results show that based on seed weight per plant, three genotypes of the best which suitable to the climate condition of Jember region were: 481, Argomulyo and Leuser, for Probolinggo region were: G7955, 482 and Burangrang and Mojokerto region were: G7955, Burangrang and Lokon. Based on simultaneous selection, three genotypes of the best for Jember region were: Wilis, Malabar and 234, for Probolinggo region were: Wilis, 482 and Argomulyo, while for Mojokerto region were: Wilis, Malabar and 234. In order to obtain the genotype which suitable for each condition, it is suggested to make assessment in different season and location.
