PENINGKATAN KAPASITAS MASYARAKAT RAWAN BENCANA BERBASIS KOMUNITAS : STUDI KEBENCANAAN DI DESA PAKIS KECAMATAN PANTI KABUPATEN JEMBER
Abstract
Disaster-prone area is an area with a high level of disaster risk where the potential for
catastrophic events repeated almost every year. This activity aims to increase the capacity of disaster-prone areas of society with the principles "of, for, and by the" society. Communities chosen as the entrance to introduce the concept that responsibility for disaster management. Activity carried out over eight months starting in March sd. October 2015 in the village of Ferns, Panti Subdistrict Jember. The selected communities are forest farmer groups (KTH) which is a lot of activity in the area of wildlife Mount Argopuro-Hyang. Data, information and verification is obtained from the Village, Community leaders, leaders of youth, members of youth clubs, medical personnel in the district (Puskesmas and Puskesmas), police, Koramil, Perum Perhutani KPH Institution, Regional Company Plantation (PDP) Jember Afdeling heaven, and BMKG Karangploso are then verified by the Agency under the control Bakesbangpolinmas SAR Jember Jember. Extracting data and information is done with interview techniques and descriptive analysis. Associated with a flood action plan, the public believes that there should be at least 8 sectors that must exist, namely the coordination of the management sector, health sector, evacuation and transportation sector, logistics sector, sector barracks, public catering sector, documentation sector and the security sector.
