| dc.description.abstract | This research aimed to describe the dual roles of women since they have to work as laborers in their efforts to
meet their family needs . Plywood Deppo of bangsalsari village is the company owned by individuals who
manage the plywood residue from the large plywood factory. Plywood Deppo Bangsalsari hired the housewife
as laborers. By their works the wife hence double role of women, the are domestic and public role. Research is
done in Deppo Plywood of Bangsalsari village, the bangsalsari sub-district, Jember Regency. Descriptive of
qualitative and the determination of the type of research using purposive sampling techniques. The direction in
this research related to the title of “Dual Role of Housewife to Fulfill Family Supplies”. Data analysis using
the technique of raw data collection, a transcript of the data, triangulation and the end conclusion. The
technique for validity of the data use of triangulation of: source, technque, and time. The results of research
shows, plywood deppo bangsalsari provide opportunities especially for woman labor tenant because the
