dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to describe the effect of situational leadership style on the performance of village
apparatus in Tamansari Village, District of Wuluhan, Jember Regency. The problem in this research is
the effect of the situational leadership style on performance of village apparatus in Tamansari Village,
District of Wuluhan, Jember Regency. The research is an associative research with quantitative
approach. The number of population was 25 employees, and the sample size was determined by the
saturated sample. Data sources were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by
observation, interviews and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the secondary data were gathered through
documentation and literature. In this study, data were collected using questionnaires. Data were analyzed
with SPSS computing. The results indicated that the results of the value of tstatistic = 3.482, the
significance level = 0.002 <a = 0.05 and df (n-k) = 23, the value of ttable = 2.068> t table or –tstatistic <-
table; thus, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It means that situational leadership had a significant
effect on the staff performance. The regression equation reads Y = 12 199 + 0.699X. This suggests that
there is no effect of situational leadership style on performance (Y) by 12 199 based on a regression
coefficient of 0.699. The results showed that the situational leadership style contributed 69.9% to the
performance. It is concluded that there is a significant effect of situational leadership style on the
performance of village apparatus in Tamansari Village, District of Wuluhan, Jember Regency | en_US |
