dc.description.abstractThis research aimed to describe the empowerment of poor household microbusiness in Sucopangepok Village, District of Jelbuk, Jember Regency. The research used qualitative design with descriptive research type. The focus of this research was at the stage of poor household microbusiness empowerment, which is a process of empowerment of poor household microbusiness in poor household microbusiness development program (PUM-RTM) in Sucopangepok Village, District of Jelbuk, Jember Regency. Data used in the research were primary data and secondary data. Informants were determined by purposive technique. Data were collected by observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis consisted of data reduction, data display (presentation of data) and conclusion drawing/verification. Data validity was tested by triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of empowerment was undertaken in accordance with the rules although in the field the capital assistance could not be rolled. This was because people considered that the assistance was freely granted, and they did not need to be return it.en_US
