dc.description.abstractInstructional model by the activity of describing a demonstration is a model of learning which in the application utilizes demonstration and discussion method. Design of research is an experimen research by using time-series design.. Data collection techniques in this research were observation, documentation, interview, and test. Data analysis uses N-gain formula and presentage of student activity. In this research obtained, 1) the average scores of n-gain from the first to the third meeting in a row were 0.37, 0.39, and 0.50, so that in each meeting was categorized increasing in fair category; 2) students activity average score was 71.93 %, so they were categorized active. Conclusions of this research: 1) the students learning achievement of physics after learning using the activity of describing conceptual demonstration experienced an increase in fair category than that before the learning by the model., and 2) the student learning during the learning activities using the learning model of describing the conceptual demonstration activity in physics learning can be classified in the active category.en_US
