ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN MOTIVASI WALI MAHASISWA MEMILIH PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS JEMBER SEBAGAI PILIHAN KARIR MAHASISWA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of hope, functional need, non functional need, reward, skill, information, social characteristics, and cultural orientation as factors of career choice to guardians of student’s motivation in case picking up Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan as education towards a nursing careers. In this study the sample were guardians of PSIK class 2013 student’s . The sampling technique is determined using snowball sampling (purposive sampling), whereas the method of analysis used chi square analysis. This research result that hope’s factor had positive relationship on guardians of student’s motivation. This shows that hope factor can affect the high and low motivation rating of guardians of student. While the functional need, non functional need, reward, skill, information, social characteristics, and cultural orientation factor has no effect on guardians of student’s motivation. This means high or low level of these variables did not affect high and low guardians of student’s motivation, especially guardians of PSIK class 2013 student’s motivation. The results of this study is expected to be a reference for PSIK students to increase their motivation rating that is by see their guardian’s hope to themselves. It’s all about make dream come true, when their hope realized in your career it’ll mean a lot for your’s guardian.
