Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood. During this period, female adolescence will experience physical change such as menarche. They need mental readiness in dealing with such situation. The results of this research revealed that the P value was 0.003 (0.003 ˂ α = 0.05), meaning that there was a correlation between readiness in facing menarche with vulva hygiene behavior of female adolescent. The value of Odd Ratio (OR) of 4,079 revealed that the female adolescent who are not being ready for the menarche are 4,079 times more prone to have improper vulva hygiene behavior when compared to their fellow adolescents who are ready facing menarche.
