dc.description.abstractLeprosy is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae. State of nutrition can affect the incidence of leprosy disability. Intake nutrition of leprosy client is needed to improve the levels of albumin and Fe in the body that affect the progression of the disease towards disability. The purpose of this research was to analyze the relationship between state of nutrition and the level of dissability amoung children with leprosy at Jember District. This research was a crosssectional survey. The population were 27 respondents and the sample was 18 respondents. Data analyzed used Somer’s d Test with 95% CI. The majority nutrition status is thin (50%) with 1st degree of dissability level (61.1%). Based on the statical analysis, there was a high correlation between nutritional status and the dissability level of children with leprosy at Jember district (p-value: 0.000, r: -0.686, α: 0.05). It can be concluded that the better nutrition status the lower dissability level. Based on the research, suggestions for nursing is should be more active in providing health education to children and society, especially related to nutrition and the leprosy dissability level.en_US
