HUBUNGAN SUPERVISI PEMBIMBING KLINIK DENGAN KEPATUHAN MAHASISWA DALAM PEMAKAIAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN INFEKSI NOSOKOMIAL DI RAWAT INAP RSU dr. H. KOESNADI BONDOWOSO

Abstract

Supervision of clinical instructor is one of the important component of practical clinic learinng for students. The good clinical instructor supervision will lead a good effort on the acheivement of students competencies. In addition of supervision, the student will provide a good care to the patient according to the right standard operational procedure. The goal of this research was an analysis of relation between supervision of clinical instructor with the Student Compliance in Use of Personal Protective Equipment as Nosocomial Infection Prevention at inpatient. This research was observational analitic using study cross sectional. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling with amount of the sample were 36 respondent. The data were analyzed with chi square test. the results of this study showed that there is a significant correlation between supervision of clinical instructor with the student compliance in use of personal protective equipment as nosocomial infection prevention at inpatient of dr. H. Koesnadi Hospital in Bondowoso (p value; 0.004 < α = 0.05). The hospital can conduct training activities for the clinical instructor to further improve their performance. The hospital is expected to create a new system related management rotation time students who practice to suppress the incidence of nosocomial infections.
