    Abstract
    The local industry of brick has the important role on increment of revenue in the village people because most of brick has been made by them to meet the construction need. Besides, the traditional process created the environmental issues, it is important to use the clean process by substituting the ash of burnt wood by organic waste ash. Therefore, this research has a goal i.e. how to raise productivity of bricks with clean environments in the community local. This study was conducted in the Suren Village, Jember Regency, East Java. The technical and non technical method have been applied to set the goal. The technical method was reached by designing and making a brick machine. The other was to motivated people village to use organic waste ash in the brick making. The result showed that the performance of the machine obtained 12 manifold compared to traditional process.In addition, the crack of bricks based on organic waste have less than that of old bricks according to visual observation.
