dc.description.abstract | A family has health tasks which need to be understood and undertaken in line with
health care function. One of health problems that a family often experiences is injury.
The use of herbal ingredients such as banana tree sap is one of the phenomena of
wound care in Banyuwangi Regency. This research purposes to obtain the value and
the meaning of family health task implementation in wound care by using
complementary therapies at Gitik public health center area of Banyuwangi Regency.
The research used qualitative method, with descriptive phenomenological study
design. The sampling technique used exponential discriminative snowball with the
number of participants as many as 7 people. The study is identifiying 12 themes:
disease concept, causes, consequences, knowledge, materials, preparation,
implementation, evaluation, attitude or life vision, preventive actions, healthcare
facilities and other facilities. The research results indicated that families are able to
carry out the family health tasks in wound care by using complementary therapies.
This research are expected to be the bases for developing wound care techniques by
use of materials from complementary therapy. | en_US |
