dc.description.abstractHospitalization can cause anxiety to children due to new environment, new people and family that accompany them during hospitalization. Caring behaviour aims to minimize anxiety in childrean during hospitalization. This was an observational analytic study with crossectional approach. Samples were 22 respondents picked out by purposive sampling technique. Research was conducted in Melati pavilioun dr. H. Koesnadi hospital, Bondowoso. Validity and reliability test with Pearson Product Moment and Alpha Cronbach. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by fisher’s exact. Statistical test obtained p value of 0.027 with CI 95%. Result showed there were significance correlation between caring behaviour with anxiety level during hospitalization in dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso. Good caring behaviour was able to minimize anxiety level in children when they’re hospitalized. Descriptional analysis showed there were 13 respondents (59.1%) with good caring behaviour and 9 respondents (40.9%) with less caring behaviour. Children anxiety level showed that 12 respondents (54.5%) suffered from mild anxiety while 10 respondents (45.5%) suffered from intermediate anxiety.en_US
