| dc.description.abstract | Regression reaction was children’s reaction to discomfort that could cause
deterioration or reverse of development can occur during hospitalization. Family
support was family’s attemp to support the hospitalized family during
hospitalization. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlations of
family support to preschooler’s regression reaction during hospitalization in dr.
H. Koesnadi hospital, Bondowoso. This was an observational analytic with
crossectional design. Samples were 21 respondents picked out by purposive
sampling technique. Research conducted in Melati pavilion in dr. H. Koesnadi
hospital, Bondowoso. Data were analyzed with Spearman-rank correlation and
obtained p value of 0.009 (α 0.05) and r -0.557. result showed that there were
correlations of family support to preschooler’s regression reaction, preschooler
with family support showed better reaction during hospitalization and the better
family support that was given the smaller the preschooler’s regression reaction.
Hereby recommended to family to give better family support to minimized
regression reactions during preschooler’s hospitalization. | en_US |
