dc.description.abstractLanguage development was one of aspect in children’s development that occur most rapidly between preschool age and depended critically on environmental input such as stimulus during developmental stage. Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB) was a health service media that provide counseling about stimulus for language acquisition. The purpose of this research was to analyze the differences of language acquisition of preschoolers on who attend BKB and who do not attend BKB in Sumbersari Village, Jember. This was a quantitative research using observational analytic with crossectional approach, 90 samples were picked out of 1.429 populations family with preschool children by simple random and purposive sampling techniques. Research used DDST observation sheets as the instrument. Samples were divided into two groups of preschoolers who attend and who do not attend BKB. Calculation using Mann Whitney statistical test obtained p value of 0.018 < α = 0.05 with 95% confidence level which means Ho is rejected. The conclusion of this study was that there are differences in languade acquisition of underfive- children on who attend and who do not attend BKB in Sumbersari Village Jember. Hereby recommended to parents with preschoolers to provide stimulus for children’s language acquisition by reading bedtime stories and train children to talk.en_US
