dc.description.abstractImmunization is effort to reach Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) that aimed for decreasing the children mortality. Immunization is one of basic needed that should be fulfilled especially during infant period. The children basic needs naturally should be fulfilled by parents. The research aimed for knowing the correlations of father’s role with 2-24 months babies participation on DPT immunization in Pace Village Silo’s District Jember The research used cross sectional method. Research’s sample in the research is father’s who infants of 2- 24 months old and selected by Multistage Random sampling. The measured variable in the research was the father’s role gived DPT immunization and infant immunization status. The results showed that majority of father included in good roles that give complete immunization DPT of 51 persons (53,7%). Based on chi square test, it is obtained p=0.0001 then it can be concluded that there is significant relationship between father’s role gived DPT immunization with infant immunization status. Based on the research, parents are suggested to get active roles in effort to keep the children health, through giving basic immunization suitable with schedules.en_US
