dc.description.abstract | Activity of daily living are the measurement of activity which doing everyday by
human regularly that includes bathing, eating, toileting, kontinen, dressing and
moving. The purpose of this research was knowing the difference of Activity of
Daily Living dependency level at eldest group who follow and not follow
Posyandu in the Work Area of Sumbersari Public Health Center in Jember
Regency. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive quota
sampling with 50 old people that divide into 2 groups, are 25 old people who
follow posyandu, and 25 old people who doesn’t follow posyandu. Analysis was
using chi – square with an alpha of 5%. Based on the result of research, there are
some respondents who follow posyandu can doing actvity of daily living
independently, is 16 people (64%) and 9 people (36%) in lowest dependency.
While some others who doesn’t follow posyandu, there are 11 people (44%) can
doing activity of daily living independently, 3 people (12%) in lowest dependency,
2 people (8%) in low dependency, 3 people (12%) in medium dependency, 3
people (12%) in high dependency, 3 people (12%) in highest dependency, and
nothing people in totally dependency. The result of the research is that difference
of Activity of Daily Living dependency level at eldest group who follow and not
follow Posyandu with p=0,001 ; α = 0,005. | en_US |
