HUBUNGAN ANTARA STIMULASI TOILET TRAINING OLEH IBU DENGAN KEMAMPUAN TOILETING ANAK USIA PRASEKOLAH DI DESA BALUNG LOR KABUPATEN JEMBER

Abstract

One of independence achievement for preschoolers is the ability of toileting independently. One of the factors that influence ability of toileting is toilet training stimulation. Toilet training stimulation is a way to train children to be able to control urinating and defecating. The purpose of this research was to know the correlation between the toilet training stimulation by mother with the ability of preschoolers toileting at Balung Lor village Jember Regency. This research used analysis survey method with cross sectional approach. The sample were 125mothers with preschoolers age 3-6 years old at Balung Lor village. Sampling technique used cluster sampling. Data was collected by a questionnaire. Data analysis with Spearman Rank. Statistical test result shown p value = 0.000, r = 0.49 The conclution there is a correlation between the toilet training stimulation by mother with the ability of preschoolers toileting at Balung Lor village Jember Regency. Thus it is necessary to families specially mother to give child's toilet training stimulation early so that children will have a good ability of toileting.
