| dc.description.abstract | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa jurusan
akuntansi baik di perguruan tinggi negeri maupun swasta dalam menyikapi
diselenggarakannya Pendidikan Profesi Akuntan (PPA) serta untuk mengkaji
perbedaan persepsi diantara mahasiswa jurusan akuntasi perguruan tinggi negeri
dengan mahasisw jurusan akuntansi perguruan tinggi swasta dalam menyikapi
diselenggarakannya Pendidikan Profesi Akuntan (PPA).
Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang
memfokuskan pada pembuktian hipotesis (Hypotesis Testing) serta pemahaman
melalui berbagai tes. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa akuntansi yang
terdaftar dapa perguruan tinggi di Jember masing-masing semester genap tahun
ajaran 2002/2005. Populasi tersebut dibagi menjadi 2 (dua) kelompok yaitu
mahasiswa akuntansi Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) dan mahasiswa akuntansi
Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji
instrument data, uji normalitas data, uji One Sampe t-test dan Independent Sample
t-test.
Berdasakan hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama dapat disimpulkan bahwa
mahasiswa akuntansi PTN mempersepsikan PPA perlu diselenggarakan. Dengan
kata lain, mahasiswa akuntansi PTN mempunyai persepsi yang positif terhadap
diselenggarakannya PPA. Hasil pengujian hipotesis kedua juga dapat disimpulkan
bahwa mahasiswa akuntansi PTS mempersepsikan PPA perlu diselenggarakan.
Dengan kata lain, mahasiswa akuntansi PTS juga mempunyai persepsi yang
positif terhadap diselenggarakannya PPA. Dengan diselenggarakannya PPA akan
memberi kemudahan bagi mahasiswa akuntansi PTS dalam memperoleh gelar
Akuntan, Karen mereka tidak perlu lagi mengikuti UNA Dasar dan UNA Profesi.
Hasil pengujian hipotesis ketiga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat
perbedaan persepsi antara mahasiswa akuntansi PTN dan mahasiswa akuntansi
PTS dalam menyikapi diselenggarakannya PPA.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa akuntansi
PTN dan PTS mempunyai persepsi yang posistif terhadap diselenggarakannya
PPA serta ada perbedaan persepsi antara mahasiswa akuntansi PTN dan PTS. This Research aim is to study the perception of student of accountancy
majors of either in college of country and also private sector in attitude carrying
out of Education of Accountant Profession (PPA) and also to study the perception
difference of among student of majors of accountancy of country college with the
student of majors of accountancy of college of private sector in attitude carrying
out of Education of Accountant Profession (PPA).
This research is conducted to use the quantitative approach is which
focused of hypothesis verification (Hypothesis Testing) and also understanding of
through/passing various test. Population in research is student of accountancy
majors enlisted at college in Jember of each for the semester of even of teaching
year 2002/2005. The population divided to become 2 (two) group that is student
of accountancy of Country College (PTN) and student of accountancy of Private
Sector College (PTS). Analysis the data used by test of data instrument, test the
normality data, test the One Sample t-test and Independent Sample t-test.
Pursuant to inferential first hypothesis examination result that student of
accountancy of PTN of perception PPA need the diselenggarakan. Equally,
student of accountancy PTN have the perception which are positive to carrying
out of PPA. Result of inferential second hypothesis examination also that student
of accountancy of PTS of perception PPA require to be carried out. Equally,
student of accountancy PTS also own the perception which positive to carrying
out of PPA. Carried out of PPA will give the amenity for student of accountancy
PTS in obtaining Accountant title, because them needn’t again follow the
elementary UNA and UNA Profession. Result of inferential third hypothesis
examination that do not there are perception difference of between student of
accountancy of PTN and student of accountancy PTS in attitude carrying out of
