dc.description.abstractWind of Change is Scorpions’s song that appears on Scorpions’s 1990 album Crazy World. It is the highest ever selling song in Germany and is frequently played on television shows presenting video footage of the fall of the Berlin Wall. While Heal the World is Michael Jackson’s songs that appears on album Dangerous, released in 1991. Wind of Change and Heal the World are the songs that were created as their careness to dehumanization. The writer analyzes the elements of humanities that can be found in the two songs. Historical- Biographical approach and Moral- Philosophical approach are the appropriate approaches to analyze Scorpions’s Wind of Change and Michael Jackson’s Heal the World. Historical- Biographical approach is used to seek the inspirations that inspire Scorpions band and Michael Jackson creation of Wind of Change and Heal the World. Moral- Philosophical is used to find the element of humanity in the songs. Inductive method is used to analyze this thesis. It is intended to make the readers more understand. It is a method of analysis that is started from the specific concepts and it goes to the general conclusions, with a purpose to make a precise and chronological analysis. The purpose of analyzing these songs is to know the elements of humanities as the moral message that can be found in Wind of Change and Heal the World. On the other side, it can improve the knowledge of the reader about the story of the songs.en_US
